The BGAN Experience
The Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) system is the first Inmarsat system of satellite communications that provides voice and broadband data, via a lightweight portable terminal with global coverage. BGAN offers significantly expanded bandwidth and capabilities, as compared to current-generation mobile satellite services.

BGAN products give users the capability to set up a broadband mobile office in minutes. Once set up, they can access data applications at speeds of up to half a megabit per second and make a phone call at the same time.

■ EXPLORER® 300

EXPLORER™ 300 is the smallest and most compact BGAN terminal in the EXPLORER™ family.

EXPLORER™ 300 adds high-speed data transmission to phone capabilities via satellite. Particularly useful in remote areas outside terrestrial or cellular coverage, this mobile terminal is an ideal link to the world wherever you are.

Easy to set-up and easy to handle. The basic system consists of one unit only – a transceiver with integral antenna.

Setting up your EXPLORER™ 300 is quick and easy. Just plug in a phone, laptop or PDA, or use the Bluetooth interface, point the antenna towards the BGAN satellite – and you are online.

EXPLORER™ 500 adds high-speed data transmission to phone and fax capabilities via satellite. Particularly useful in remote areas outside terrestrial or cellular coverage, this mobile terminal is an ideal link to the world wherever you are.

Setting up your EXPLORER™ 300 is quick and easy. Just plug in a phone, laptop or PDA, or use the Bluetooth interface, point the antenna towards the BGAN satellite – and you are online. If you happen to be sheltered, the optional external antenna can be erected in a convenient location outside.
