Terminals need to be activated only through Inmarsat Service Providers (ISP). The terminals can be registered with our ISP code of (8556) , by using the special SIM card provided by our company, offers:

PSA 3158

We are authorised by Inmarsat to offer Inmarsat terminal activation services and terminal particulars updates. In this capacity, the whole spectrum of available services is covered, such as:
–  Receipt of application, forwarding of changes of terminal particulars and collection of necessary endorsements
–  Activations, de-activations, changes in vessels' info such as, "ship owners and accounting authorities" details
–  Advising the respective government agencies, the accounting authority and the ship-owners of progres
–  Updating the official activated terminals database
–  Advising the LES for the quicker activation of communications of all terminals under the Otesat-Maritel code
–  Acceptance and servicing of terminals under foreign flags with transfer of authority to our PSA service, through Inmarsat, attendance of the said transfer and checking of particulars
–  Monitoring of terminal status in the Inmarsat database
–  Dealing with users' queries and routing them to the LES or the relative departments for their attention and action

AAIC

The registration of all vessels worldwide under an Accounting Authority is required by the international legislation.
We offer Accounting Authority services for telecommunications carried out either via the coastal VHF/HF stations or the Inmarsat satellite systems.

LRIT

SOLAS V/19-1 Long-Range Identification and Tracking regulation is now in force. The regulation applies to ships engaged on international voyages, including all passenger ships, cargo ships of 300 gross tones and above and Mobile Offshore Drilling Units.

 

Our service checks for compliance of a given terminal on board.

The terminal must be capable of being configured to transmit the following minimum information set in an Automatic Position Report (APR):
- The identity of the ship,
- The position of the ship, and
- The date and time of the position.
In addition, the terminal must be able to respond to polling for an on-demand position report as requested by a National Data Centre (NDC), a Cooperative Data Centre (CDC), or a Regional Data Centre (RDC) nominated by the Flag.
